Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb lean mince
  • 2 onions
  • 1  green pepper
  • 1 garlic clove
  •  2 tbsp passata
  • 1 egg
  •  2 slices wholemeal bread, crumbed
  • 2 tsp mixed herbs

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200*c
  2. Dice the onions and peppers and crush the garlic
  3. Place in a large bowl with the mince and season well
  4. Add the breadcrumbs and mixed herbs and mix together thoroughly
  5. Add the egg and passata and bind all ingredients together
  6. Spray a 2 lb loaf tin with frylite
  7. Press mixture into tin until it compact
  8. Bake in oven for 35 – 40 minutes
  9. Remove from loaf tin and cut into slices
